Moonrise over Monument Valley, Dec 2015

The moon rose right between the famous mittens about five minutes after I took this. A cold night at a stunning landscape that reminded me of Jordan.

Best. Tetris. Ever. Columbus, Dec 2015

The Timbers won the MLS Cup. Oh yes they did. And I was there. Definitely one of the best memories. Valeri scored after 27 seconds; and I held the cup. Incredible

Aurora Borealis. Wiseman, April 2014

The Northern Lights really need to be seen to be believed.
At -30, on the edge of the Arctic Circle, you need some commitment to go stare at the sky at four in the morning.
But it's really worth it for such a magical sight.

King of the World. Memphis, Aug 2013

Delayed in Memphis overnight on the anniversary of Elvis's death, this Elvis competition was being held in our hotel (!)
The winner had just won $5000 for impersonating his hero.
Quite random, and incredible.

Hatch Show Print. Nashville, Aug 2013

This iconic print shop has produced music and arts posters
since 1879. Great colours and style, and it's right next to
all the bars on Broadway too.

Crater Lake sunrise. Oregon, May 2010

I'd always wanted to go here, and it didn't disappoint.
Sunrise over the volcanic lake made camping in -12C
temperatures worth it. A stunning and serene place.

Grand Canyon. Arizona, Dec 2009

Sunset over the Grand Canyon on New Year's Eve.
Hike down to the river; you won't regret it.

The price of Liberty. New York, Nov 2009

In the land of the free, two queue-laden airport-style security checks
now bar the way to visiting the Statue of Liberty. Oh, the irony.

Heelside carve. California, Feb 2008

Perfect light on the debris of Tim's big turn.
The end of a big week after a Tahoe storm.

Bluebird pow day. Colorado, Feb 2007

Days on the mountain don't get much
better than this. J.A. at Steamboat.

Frontside grab. Washington, Feb 2003

No fresh, so we built this kicker instead.
A 35mm shot at Crystal Mountain, Washington.

Wake. Seattle, June 2007

A close-up of Richard Serra's sculpture in the Olympic
Sculpture Park, Seattle. An odd collection of outdoor art,
aided by ironic commentary from Wendy and Dayne.

Kirkwood swirl. California, Feb 2008

The snow dust swirled around me as I stood on this lip
waiting for the Californian wind to die down. Taken by Tim.
