Watching Brazil, in Brazil, in a knockout game at the World Cup. We were even behind the goal where the penalties were taken. 
Can it get any better? (This was before the 7-1).

The Northern Lights really need to be seen to be believed. 

At -30, on the edge of the Arctic Circle, you need some commitment to go stare at the sky at four in the morning. 

But it's really worth it for such a magical sight.

Chernobyl today isn't exactly as it seems. The site has been extensively looted, and despite warnings, objects repositioned for better photographs. This doll's head in the abandoned kindergarten was suspiciously well-placed.
